The Dynamical Analysis of a Delayed Prey-Predator Model with a Refuge-Stage Structure Prey Population
A mathematical model describing the dynamics of a delayed stage structure prey - predator system with prey refuge is considered. The existence, uniqueness and bounded- ness of the solution are discussed. All the feasibl e equilibrium points are determined. The stability analysis of them are investigated. By employ ing the time delay as the bifurcation parame...
متن کاملPermanence and periodicity of a delayed ratio-dependent predator–prey model with stage structure
A periodic ratio-dependent predator–prey model with time delays and stage structure for both prey and predator is investigated. It is assumed that immature individuals and mature individuals of each species are divided by a fixed age, and that immature predators do not have the ability to attack prey. Sufficient conditions are derived for the permanence and existence of positive periodic soluti...
متن کاملCompetitive Exclusion in a Discrete Stage-Structured Two Species Model
We develop a stage-structured model that describes the dynamics of two competing species each of which have sexual and clonal reproduction. This is typical of many plants including irises. We first analyze the dynamical behavior of a single species model. We show that when the inherent net reproductive number is smaller than one then the population will go to extinction and if it is larger than...

متن کاملPermanence and global asymptotic stability of a delayed predator-prey model with Hassell-Varley type functional response
Here, a predator-prey model with Hassell-Varley type functional responses is studied. Some sufficient conditions are obtained for the permanence and global asymptotic stability of the system by using comparison theorem and constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional. Moreover, an example is illustrated to verify the results by simulation.
